At African Continental Crafts, we’re honored to have Vincent Agaba as a member of our Board of Directors, serving as an Advisor on Business, Innovations, and Product Development. Vincent brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for innovation, making him a formidable force in Uganda’s business and real estate sectors.
With an impressive portfolio, Vincent serves as a Director at Avarts Housing Ltd. and the Rwenzori Tourism Academy. His leadership journey includes being a Non-Executive Board Director at Housing Finance Bank, representing the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). He is also the Founding President and past CEO of the Association of Real Estate Agents of Uganda (AREA-Uganda), an organization with global partnerships that works to elevate real estate practices in Uganda and beyond.
Vincent’s impact extends to international platforms. He chairs the Governing Council of the Real Estate Institute of East Africa (REIEA) and sits on various boards, including Habitat for Humanity Uganda (HFHU) and the Tourism Academy of the USA. As a member of Uganda’s Corporate Governance Institute, he actively promotes good governance practices within organizations nationwide.
In addition to his business accomplishments, Vincent has been deeply involved in community and faith-based initiatives. He has contributed his expertise to the Catholic Diocese of Fort Portal, Rotary International, and the Netherlands Alumni Association of Uganda (NAAU). His active engagement with the Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU) and the Uganda National Urban Forum has also enabled him to address pressing urban and development challenges.
Vincent’s educational background is equally impressive. He holds degrees from Uganda Martyrs University and the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He has earned numerous certifications, including a Certificate of Specialist in Real Estate Management, a Certificate in Corporate Governance, and qualifications in insurance and property management. His dedication to continuous learning is evident in his certifications from prestigious institutions like the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the Institute of Real Estate Management, USA.
